The University of Pennsylvania's Stuart Weitzman School of Design is now offering an online executive program in design for sustainability, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
"Many people in my field, including some very accomplished professionals, want to do more, but simply don't know how to get started," says Weitzman's director of online innovation.
"This program was created for them."
The 7-month program, which starts with a six-week course in bioclimatic design and ends with a three-week mini-design studio, will teach students how to assess and reduce carbon emissions in the built environment, according to a press release.
The cost for a single course is $699, or as low as $3,030 for a traditional cohort.
